Justus Cafe, Middle Montana

Montana.
woah... there are not many people here.  Seriously.  Seriously.
We would drive for hours and not see anyone - and we were on a highway.  We filled up with gas at every opportunity, it was obvious it would be quite easy to get in the zone and run out.

We finally hit a little town (couple buildings) one building was called Justus Cafe.
We stopped to get lunch.  Mom and the boys walked around outside while I was at the table - maxed out with road hypnosis.  Looking at the crazy paneling and the carpet that clearly used to be in a casino.

The waitress and I talk:  (I am the only person in the cafe at this point - well - the whole time)

"Where ya from?"

"Just north of Detroit"

"yeah, well your darn lucky you live in Detroit"

"Oh yeah?"

"We just found out that Al-Queada had targeted Montana." *knowing tilt of the head*

"Oh... my"

"yeah, they're gonna set wild fires all over the state"

"yeah?"

"yup, 150 so far.  Hope when you have left here and are watching the news that you don't see us burning up in a fire"

"ok, yeah... sure, I will"

Yes.  yes, that happened.  I love those crazy road trip talks and this one did not disappoint.
The funny thing is that my Mom and I had just had a huge conversation about how there were hardly any trees around - just land and hills.  It is big sky country.  So, I am going to pray for the Justus Cafe lady - I told her I would.
