However (and perhaps even better) their minor league Team is playing one today!
(even better because there will be less people and it will be way cheaper)
Heath and I are taking Connor and Finn to the pitch this afternoon. This is always a good time and I want to get the boys amped for returning to see Le Rouge (Detroit's brand spanking new football club!)
Maggie, Bruce and Heathy got us season tix (seriously - how spoiled are we????!!!) And we plan on representing hard core.
Connor woke up talking about the keeper and the pitch and using all of his new football (ahem, soccer) terms. The Timbers experience is really quite grand. I am pretty stoked to share it with Connor and Finn.
tonight will be so much fun! not quite the crazy full on Army experience but definitely a good 'practice' run for Le Rouge! (darn it, i meant to bring my Le Rouge scarf, but it's at home!!)
